Windows 10: Why are my arrow buttons moving the cursor 2 spaces at a TIME!?

I am going mad. Every time I use the arrows on my laptop to move my cursor around, it moves the cursor 2 spaces at a time. If I hit the left arrow to take the cursor back one space like it normally would, it doesn't happen; the cursor moves back 2 spaces instead. It doesn't matter if I am using the UP, DOWN, LEFT or RIGHT. They all move 2 spaces at a time now. It doesn't matter what program or app I am typing in, it still moves with double moves. I have even restarted my laptop back to factory reset keeping the local files in hopes that this would resolve the problem. This is a new Sam

Up-Down and Left-Right Arrows Only move cursor one space at a time. Takes forever to move the cursor anywhere.

With text function there is no repeat
EXAMPLE Typical... I had to push the right arrow key 7 times for the word EXAMPLE
Tried windows troubleshooting and got nothing useful

After I press the space button, the cursor moves backwards and an empty space is created.

Thanks for your suggestion! But the Insert Key is not on.

I also tried to insert new space in the middle of texts, I found the same behavior. In fact, I found a new issue, that is, my Left button simply adds a new empty space to the left of the cursor. Press the Left button again, then it inserts a new empty space
to the right of the cursor. Keep pressing it, more empty spaces are inserted to the right. The cursor does not move any more. Right button works properly. So do the Up and Down button.

When I have opened a program like Edge on my Windows 10 PC, the cursor changes form from an arrow to a circle with an up arrow and an arrow down.
This new symbol can not activate anything by moving it around with the mouse.
To close the open program, press Ctrl + Alt + Del to get to the job list.
At the same time, the circle symbol turns into the well-known arrow, and I can continue the work normally.

How do I avoid the annoying circle icon?
