    Why are my files not working? New Laptop


    I bought a new Dell laptop yesterday. I set it up and selected to use the most recent backup from my old HP laptop. When it put me on the home screen most of my folders were there, but when I click on a shortcut to a app in one of these folders it says "The specified path does not exist, check the path then try again".I think it is supposed to add the actual apps and shortcuts, not just the shortcuts, not sure though. I couldn't find much about this error either, but I can deduct that it means the shortcut doesn't lead anywhere. I'm not sure how to fix this so hopefully someone can help :

    One of the ram is bad.

    THANK YOU FOR SUGGESTING THAT. I was about to waste 1k on a new laptop.
