Windows 10: Why are my games lagging while having recommended components ?

Hello, I have an issue with lag in most new games despite fulfilling recommended system requirements. I'm usually playing on medium graphics and at this point even going to lowest possible settings doesn't help much. My usual FPS count is ~40 and below in both cases of graphic settings. In some other games I have frame drops from 60 or above to 30-40.Also I have weird problems with Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army and Sniper Elite 4 where my GPU overheats to over 80 degrees - but only on this games, on others it's fine.My setup:Win 10 64-bitIntel Core i5-7600kNvidia RTX 3060 24GB RAMMSI Z270 PC M

Card games lagging!

If it's an online game, the lag issue may have been caused by your Internet connection. It can also occur due to the game server issue. We'll need to gather a bit more information to better identify what's causing this. Kindly answer the following:

• Have you made any changes prior to this issue?
• What card game are you having issues with?
• Is the issue the same with other games?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve the issue?

Meanwhile, if the card game you're playing is downloaded from Windows Store, we suggest running the
Windows apps troubleshooter. The apps troubleshooter can help resolve issues with games and applications downloaded from Windows Store.

I game alot..what component makes me lag? memory, graphcard/videocard

Not all games would have same impact on HW performance. Some are more processor and some more graphic oriented. I'd suggest finding exact HW list and then check on particular games sites to see what is minimal and what is recommended/optimal HW requirements. In addition, there are some games that would give a mainframe computer a good workout because of bad coding.

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
