Windows 10: Why are my tabs screwed to the left.

I just got to my Architecture course at college opened up my computer. It was fully off so I turned it on. When I turned it on everything was fine and then I opened my Microsoft edge tab and my tabs opened. However, when they opened they were not fit to the screen of the computer. I went to click to make them maximized using the function on the screen however I found that my cursor on the computer does not register over the button unless it is to the right of it by about half an inch. I have never experienced anything like this on a computer and I do not know how to fix it. Any help would be

I suggest you to check if the following steps helps to resolve the issue.

• Right click on the Windows key and Go to control panel.
• On the upper right corner change the view by to small icon.
• Click on mouse.
• Then click on ‘wheel’ tab.
• Set the values for horizontal and vertical scrolling.

Command line/tab

QUESTION/suggestion:
* Why not remember the last active tab?
For example, if you are on tab 2 and close the program, then run it again, for the program to open tab 2 again. But if the -tab X command-line option is used, then the program goes to X tab, regardless of last active tab.

Does that make sense?

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your touch Screen. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Method 2: Compatibility mode

I would suggest you to install the latest available drivers on manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
