Windows 10: Why are my windows slightly too big for my screen?

So I recently connected my laptop (Windows 10) to my 4K TV. I setup the dual screens in Display Settings and configured the TV as the primary and made it so I could move the cursor between them. When I unplugged the laptop and opened Discord, it was a few pixels too big for the screen. (this happens with all windows/apps) For example, On the left where you see the little white dots when someone sends a message in a server wasn't visible. Also the text saying Discord in the top left is cut off. Also, I have my taskbar to say the whole window name instead of just the icon. Now the taskbar application thing's (idk what you call them) are really wide. I can't save screenshots of these issues because my save windows are now huge. Is there any way to fix this?

Method 1: Change display resolution.

• Right click on desktop.
• Select Display settings.

• Under resolution drop down, you can select the option 1920x1080.

I suggest you to update graphic drivers and check if it helps. Follow the steps given below.

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Device manager.
• Search for Display Adapters.

Screen Resolution too big

Firstly, try to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it fixes the issue.

I suggest you to change the screen resolution settings and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key and type Change Screen Resolution and click on the option listed.
• Under resolution try changing the resolution settings.

Also try to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check.
