Windows 10: Why are some or all of my messages missing from the Phone Link?

I have set up my Link to Windows on my Samsung Zfold5 phone. For my text message I'm using the messages app that was on my phone. When I linked my phone to my computer using the pre-installed link to Windows on the phone and phone link on the PC, not all of my texts came across on the computer. How do I get the missing texts from my phone?

Phone Link app missing text messages

In Phone Link make sure your phone shows Connected. If it is Offline, click on

to try to resync the phone with Phone Link.

I have Samsung Galaxy A22. This is linked with Windows 11 Phone Link app. Messages list is not completed. Long list is missing. I have set the default messages app of Samsung and Google both but long list is missing.

I have this same problem with my Samsung A54 phone. Message list is incomplete in Phone Link compared to what my phone actually shows. A large portion of my message list is not shown in Phone Link.
