Windows 10: Why are there no signature options for Windows Mail and using Outlook online doesn't solve...

When I first set up my email through Windows Mail a few years back you were able to format signatures right in the app font, bolding, hyperlinked email, company logo, etc. Recently I got a new computer and had to set everything up again. Now, nothing but a text box where I can't even bold my name. I saw this help article stating you simply can't do any of the formatting anymore. I also saw some other help questions where people were able to get Mail to sync if they added a signature to Outlook on the web. That isn't working for me, nothing synced at all. So why are these options gone from th

Custom Signature in Mail??

1. Are you using outlook or other third party app?

If you are using mail app I suggest you to follow the steps below.

• Go to mail app.
• Tap on Switch to Setting icon on bottom left.
• Go to options.
• Turn on Signature; Choose the Signature you like.

Outlook signature is changed to italics

To understand the issue better, I would like to know how did you attached the signature? Please provide the steps.



Please follow the below steps to add signature and check.

Step 1.

• 
  Go the browser and open Outlook.com and log-in on the email.
  
• 
  Click on gear box go to option.
  
• 
  Locate for the Formatting, font and signature and click on it.
  
• Now create a signature.

Once you create the signature go to mail app to turn on the signature option. Follow the below steps:

  Now click on option and turn on the
  signature option.

How to install outlook express on windows xp with explorer 8?

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.
