  1. Why are there two copies of folders in File History restore window?

Hi,I'm staring at the File History Restore window and I see two folders for Pictures, Music, Videos, Documents. See screenshot.Any idea why File History does this? Is it like this for everyone? Also, it begs the question, when I do a restore, which of the pictures or documents do I select? Just looking inside both briefly, they appear to have the same files, but I can't be sure as I cannot check the file/folder size from the FileHistory interface. Thanks!

    :)

    Java.nio.file - Copying files

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

  4. Why are there two copies of folders in File History restore window?

File History won't work, says insufficient space

    Hi,

It is possible that the user profiles are also being restored when restoring your files in
File History. We suggest that you manually choose the files you want to restore. Here are the steps:

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Search for File History.
    • Click the Restore personal files option on the left pane of your screen.
    • Select the folders you want to restore and then click the restore icon.
Note: Make sure that you don't copy the duplicated folders listed.

Feel free to get back to us if you need further assistance.
