  1. Why are threats being "restored"?

Why does Win-10 Defender report: "Detected: Trojan:Win32/Tiggre!rfn This threat or app was removed from quarantine and restored to the device."? Why would a malware remover RESTORE a threat to my PC instead of REMOVE it? Subsequent scans then find the same threat over and over again "restores" this threat every time it runs. This happens with every threat it detects, and "threats" are really piling up. Advice?

    :)

  2. Windows Defender is missing Restore Button for Quarantined Threats

It wasn't listed under "Quarantined Threats", but was listed in "See full history" as quarantined. It has been about 2 hours
and now it is listed under "Quarantined Threats" which now shows the Restore or Delete options. Something must be causing
a delay in listing the quarantined file under "Quarantined Threats" after they have been found and quarantined by Defender.

Is restoring a quarantined threat the same as allowing the threat?

My Windows defender scan reported a threat last week. I quarantined it. After a few days, I updated my defender virus definitions, restored the threat, and ran another scan (because I wanted to find out if it was a false positive). This new scan did not
    report any threat.

However, under defender's threat history, allowed items, I see this threat listed. I do NOT want to allow the threat, just wanted to find out if the latest definitions would still reported the file as a threat. How should I do that? Thank you. I am using
    windows 10.

    Why are threats being "restored"?

Restoring Windows 10 Image using Macrium Reflect

In addition to the above. Here's my suggestion in step by step.
I assume you have Macrium Installed in your current HD and already made a backup copy.
    1. Connect your new HD via USB port and boot up.
    2. Run Macrium, click on Restore tab then select the Backup Image that you made to restore
    3. click on "select a different target disk" then select your new HD as destination

    4. Proceed to restore then Shutdown and disconnect the old HD and replace with the new HD
    5. Boot up with your new HD.
