Windows 10: Why are we all installing a Windows 11 update that is not in the catalog 2023-11 Update for...

Working on my brother's Laptop ASUS A515 Windows 11 and this update above sent the Laptop to the BSOD and no restore point would work 5 restore points 2 day of SFC chkdsk /f /r c: . All the fix restart etc etc would not work.Nothing do it again no chance. There was no way this laptop was going to return with all the software for my brother to use on it. I've had to re-install Windows 11 home again. This will not do Microsoft. I am suspending any updates for the next 3 weeks get your skates on fix it please. 2023-11 Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB4023057

Futuremark 3DMark 11 Updated to v1.0.3

Futuremark today released an update for its 3DMark 11 benchmark suite that's built to put today's and tomorrow's DirectX 11 GPUs through their paces. Although this is a relatively minor update, Futuremark recommended that all existing users update to this version for reliability. It packs the following changes:

• Bullet physics library updated to version 2.79 to improve compatibility with future CPUs and GPUs.
• For most systems containing multiple GPUs, for example integrated graphics and an additional discrete graphics card, the user can now select the GPU to be tested using a new option on the Help tab.
• Improved error handling and user messages for the most common compatibility issues.
• SystemInfo component updated to version 4.5 for improved compatibility with current and future hardware.
• New "More" tab with information about other Futuremark products and services.

Windows 11 – Cumulative updates suddenly failing to install

Welcome to Ten Forums, though really you should be looking to the sister site Eleven Forum for answers. Your Windows 11 21H2 has passed its end of support date. It really isn't worth trying to fix the Windows Update issues as it would only get the last update for October 2023 anyway.

how to fix 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706)

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)
