why are we getting system error memory dump and minidump files

For the last few days, when running CLEANMGR, we are seeing "system error memory dump files" and "system error minidump files". Today the size of each is 1.03GB. There are also Windows error reports and feedback diagnostics of 14.5KB. What is causing these? We are not getting a Blue Screen or crash. If we do not delete them, I read that they are overlayed, so there is no real history on what is happening.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 system error memory dump files filling HD

Windows 10 as in previous versions of Windows has the Windows Administrative Tools folder on your Start Menu (where you find the usual suspects of Pinned (Most Used) followed by the rest of alphabetical Unpinned).

Open/Drop down the Windows Administrative Tools folder. Click on Disk Cleanup. Disk Cleanup will Scan and then list the files you can clean up off your disk. System error memory dump file is listed. Check it if you want to delete, click OK, click Delete
    files.

Disc Cleanup locks up at System Error Memory Dump Files

Windows 10 Disc Cleanup freezes up at System Error Memory Dump Files and will not progress from there. I have deleted and reinstalled it from the APP list a couple of times, but still does not work. How can I fix this?

SORRY YOU ARE RIGHT! CLEAN UP DOES NOT CLEAN UP. Weird.
