    Why are Windows 11 upgrade requirements so stringent and Explorer Stripped Down?


    I am currently using Windows 10 version 22H2 Home version. I have an excellent Gigabytes Motherboard GA H170-D3HP that includes an Intel I7 6700 3.4GHZ processor that according to requirements for Windows 11 does not qualify. The motherboard does include a TPM header where for $50 one is able to upgrade from TPM 1.2 to TPM 2.0 using a 20 pin connector model Gigabyte GC-TPM2.0 Module. From what I understand despite the ability to upgrade with this TPM 2.0 header upgrade module this motherboard would still fall short of the stringent requirements to upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Window

    Windows Explorer Replacement?

    are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

    I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue Why are Windows 11 upgrade requirements so stringent and Explorer Stripped Down? :p

    Question related to Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10

    It was kind of you to reply, But I have done what you suggested and IE is not listed. The background is that I was running Microsoft Money on Windows 8.1 prior to going to 10.1.

    After the upgrade to 10.1 I went to run Money and got a message saying IE is required.

    I do not need IE as I use Firefox.
