Why are you not providing an export to file or print "full" decade's worth of Calendar in the Email & Calendar App? This is irresponsible and dangerous to people's lives. Everything that has taken place in well over a decade, going back to 2011, is on my Email & Calendar App's Calendar. Some are stand alone events/dates, some are reoccurring either daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. I have memory deficits due to a coma 10 years ago and I cannot remember these crucial, critical and deeply important dates, I rely on my Calendar from the Email & Calendar App for "EVERYTHING." I don't k

Hopefully I Exported GMAIL Calendar Alerts To an ICS File, Now What?

I suggest that you go back to your Gmail calendar and export the calendar in a different format than ICS, XML perhaps?

 

Windows 10 calendar sync problem

At this point, I suggest you to check if it helps to use the web version of the calendar to sync the existing calendar details.

Please follow the below steps.

Step 1: Export Google Calendar

• Click on the the gear button, then navigate to Settings > Calendars > Export calendars.
• It downloads as a zip, so copy the .ics file out.

Step 2: Import or subscribe to a calendar in Outlook.com

• Follow the instructions prescribed in the below Help Article.

Step3: Next, open your calendar app to check if you can see the events which were used in your Google calendar.

Syncing Google Calendars with Calendar App

Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft Community and welcome to the Windows 10 Family.

From the description provide, I understand that you are unable to sync Outlook calendar and Google calendar.

I would suggest you to use Outlook.com as the first step and then try to import the Google calendar ics file.

Please follow below.

Export Google Calendar

• Logon to your Google Account.
• Click the gear button.
• Follow the path Settings> Calendars> Export calendars.
• It downloads as a zip, hence you have to extract the .ics file.

Import Google calendar to Outlook.

• Login to Outlook.com.
• Click on Import in the context menu.
• Select the Google Calendar .ics file to import it.

All your Outlook events and appointments are now either in Google Calendar, whichever one you chose to import to .
