Windows 10: Why aren't my network drivers turning back on after I did a network reset?

I only did this due to having extremely slow download and upload speeds on my laptop specifically. I had tried to go into device manager to see if I could find a way to fix it there, but the only main 3 options are to uninstall, disable, and update. I already tried updating it but that didn't work. I also have disabled and reinabled all of the related network drivers, but to no avail. I have restarted after doing both of these.Is there any way to get the drivers to work again? I also don't know if I should just wait for it to finish doing its thing because well.. Yeah..

Install a driver for your network adapter

Go to the list of network adapters in the control panel, turn of the lan and turn it on again. See if that helps.

 

Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

This could be due to incompatibility of the network adapter. Please try the suggestions below and check.

Step 1: I would suggest you to run Internet Connection troubleshooter.

Internet Connection troubleshooter.

• Press “Windows key + W” and type “troubleshooting”.
• Select “Troubleshooting”.
• Select “View all” on the top left corner.
• Click “Network & Internet”.
• Click on “Internet Connections”
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2: Update the network adapter

a. Press Windows key + X and click Device Manager

b. Expand Network adapter

c. Right click the driver and click Update driver software

Step 3: Update the network adapter from the computer manufacturer's support website and check.
