Windows 10: why can Cortana not put my computer to sleep any more

    why can Cortana not put my computer to sleep any more


    Why can't Cortana not put my computer to sleep any more since the latest windows update about 3 days ago ? And wiped out my desktop also to the point of working 3 hours to get it half way back to the way I had it with google chrome. Update put EVERY thing back to Microsoft ?... Not a happy camper right now.

    "Hey Cortana" preventing computer from automatically sleeping/hibernating

    Unfortunately, "Hey Cortana" still prevents my computer from automatically sleeping, even after these steps.

    Cortana Notebook

    In order to enable the Notebook icon in Cortana, I suggest you to check if you have enabled Cortana.

    To enable Cortana, please follow the steps below:

    • Go to Cortana.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Turn on “Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts”.
