Windows 10: Why can I not leave my family group?

Hello, there.I'm thirteen, soon turning fourteen, and cannot leave my family group. I've tried on my mom's phone and mine to leave, but I can't. When I tried, it said I wasn't under the statutory age to leave and would need an adult's consent. The problem is, whenever I go on my mom's phone the organizer, it says she is unable to remove me from the family group, citing the same thing. At one point, I was the administrator and tried to leave, and came to the same result. If my mom tries to leave, it says something went wrong and to refresh, even if I try it hours later. Family Organizer Leaving Family Group

• If Mother was the administrator of the Family Group, you can exit the Family Group directly, and Mother will automatically become the Family Group organizer.
  
  If you want to stay in the Family Group, you need to rejoin, either as an administrator or as a regular Family Group member.
  
  Visit Getting started with Microsoft Family Safety for more details.
  

• If Mother was already a member of the Family Group, you need to remove her from the Family Group, then add it again, and need to select "Administrator" when selecting the role.
  

Meanwhile, you can dissolve the Family Group, and then let the new organizer send an invitation to re-establish the Family Group. Visit Leave family group or remove members (microsoft.com) for more details.

Leaving or being removed from a family group will not delete Microsoft accounts. However, family groups without an organizer and at least one other family member will be deleted.

Last member (Adult) unable to leave Family group

Why not set up an admin account with documented password, add it to the family group? Then you can take your account out, and still have (or leave) an admin/family group access account available. Just a thought/suggestion...
