Windows 10: Why can I not send text messages on the phone app to some recipients that are unexpectedly...

Hi, I am trying to send a text message on the Phone Link app but whenever I click on the “Send a message” space to start typing the cursor doesn’t seem to change to allow me to type, as if I were clicking on an empty space of the screen with the added note on top "Group messages are turned off by your phone carrier" Please see screenshot belowIn the above example the contact is identified with my number plus the contacts name with "2 people" noted below it as shown in the next screenshotIn a normal setting, if you are text messaging someone, only the name you have given them should appe

How to send an email that a phone receives as a text?

At my office, we want to have the ability to communicate with our electricians who are fairly low tech people. They don't check emails often, but text messaging would work fine for our need. I know with Verizon and Sprint you can using the text messaging app on the phone to text an email, and then if you reply to say L: 9995724770@VTEXT.COM that email will go to the phone as a text message.

Short of having all the electricians text an email to get these addresses, is there an easier way to go about this? I've never really dealt with mass texting before. Is say a Droid phone capable of sending a text to 40 people?

along with the corresponding MMS page, that you can send a single text or media message to multiple people whether they're on their phones or on a computer...

When I test on my Lumia 920 by sending to an email address and a phone number, the phone gets the text or the picture, but the email does not. The email will only get a message if I send only to email addresses, with no phones included. It was recently
updates to OS 8.0.10517.150, but I tried this before the update and had the same problem.

This is the one feature keeping my wife from moving from the Samsung Galaxy S4 (which she hates in many ways) to the Nokia Lumia 1020. Is there some trick to making it work?

Sending text from pc

You can use the Your Phone app. I do it all the time *Wink

Obviously "free" is dependent on your service agreement with your carrier.
