Windows 10: Why can I not sign into my work email on my hp laptop?

I am having difficulties signing into my work email on my brand new hp laptop. Every time I try sign into my work Microsoft account on the laptop a message appears stating 'looks like this isn't a Microsoft account, try another email'. Which is unusual considering I can sign into my work Microsoft account on Office 365 via browser. I have tried adding the account by 'add user' in the settings and it will not work, are there any possible reasons for this?

Changing my administrative email on my Windows 10 HP Laptop to a new email?

I am wanting to change the email that my windows 10 HP Laptop has been setup with, for when I sign into my laptop. However, I have been trying to do this by going into my administrative settings, and I just can't seem to get to the right place that
will allow me to change the initial email that I set my HP Laptop (windows 10) with when I first got it. I am in need of some serious help because I no longer have access to this email, and that is the main reason why I want to change it. For some it won't
let me into this email account that is setup on my pc. What do I need to do (step by step) to get the email changed?

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
