Windows 10: Why can I only log in using a PIN, but I can't use a password, it says "too many requests"

When I log in using my password, it will be blank and say "too many requests". I haven't logged in to my account for a long time. And yesterday when I wanted to log in to my Microsoft account and after filling in the password this happened to me blank saying too many requests l Like yo I can't log in to my account?Then I saw there was writing under the password sign in using a pin then I clicked and filled in my pin and was able to log in. But this is very strange, every time I want to log in to Microsoft now I have to use a PIN instead of a password I don't know what happened to Microso

Pin Request for Autofill Passwords

How do I disable pin requests for autofill passwords? Whenever I go to log in with a saved password my computer asks for my pin before logging me in.

Hi, I have a minor log in problem after coming out of a sleep, I normally use a pin to log in but recently when I enter a pin it will say I have miss input the keys then after a few attempts it will give me the option to input a password this then does the same, If I then turn my surface pro off (this normally takes 2 or 3 attempts as it pushes me back to a log in screen) when I restart it logs in no problem. This only started yesterday and seems to be when it has been asleep for a few hours, I don't have things like hibernate or hybrid sleep active.

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Click on Sign-in options on the log on screen. Select Microsoft account.
• Try logging in using Microsoft account and password.
• Once you log into the system, try to change the PIN under accounts/sign-in page.
• Select the Start
  
  button, then select
  Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
• Try to reset the PIN.
