Windows 10: Why cant I access C/program, It was fine a few days ago

This issue might be due to some error in system settings.

If you have not yet tried the below steps, I suggest you to perform and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to log out from the current user account, restart the computer and log-in with the administrator account and check if you are able to access the local drivers.

If the issue still persists,

Step 2: I suggest you to place the computer in safe mode, try to log-in with administrator account and check if the issue persists.

c:\ is not accessible.......Access is denied

Just recently I have started to have this problem when trying to access c::

Computer runs fine , but, also programs cant update because of this.

I have tried all the suggestions on here and for c:: properties\ security and it either freezed or i get Access is denied.

Very frustrating as I cant access it and nothing can update

 

Unable to access internet with certain programs

I have a Compaq Presario CQ62 running Windows 10. I am unable to access the internet with a couple programs. I downloaded the update from Windows 7 to 10. Everything runs fine but HP's support program and Print Shop V22.

I googled the problem and tried some of the suggestions listed, but I still can't access the internet. I am using Firefox and it connects fine along with Norton Internet Security. Any suggestions?
