Windows 10: Why Can't I Change My Default Web Browser? Windows 11 22H2

I'm currently using the latest window's version 22H2. This is my first time having this issue, and I've been trying to find and search hopping there's someone have the same issue as me and have the solution to fix it, but I can't seem to find one.The only closest thing I could find is this forum from 2017, but there's no further solution in my problem.Why Can't I Change Default Web Browser?I have 3 web browsers installed Microsoft Edge, Chrome, & Brave, and deciding to finally switch browsers from chrome to brave. Brave have been offering me to make brave as my default browser in it's se

You may try these.

Follow the steps below:

For Windows 10:

• 
  Select the start button, and then type
  Default app settings
  
• 
  In the search results, select default app settings
  
• 
  Under web browser, select the browser currently listed and then select Mozilla fire fox or another browser
  

For Windows 7, 8.1:

• 
  Go to control panel
  
• 
  In the search box, located on the upper right corner
  type Default programs
  
• 
  Click on Default programs
  
• 
  Click on Set your default program
  
• 
  Click on Mozilla Firefox
  
• 
  Click on Set this program as default
  
• 
  Click Ok

Cannot set default web browser

My name is Mohammed Shuain, an Independent Advisor & I understand from the description that you want to make the Chrome browser as your default browser. Please follow the below steps.

Step 1:

Go to Search box next to Windows icon and type Default app Settings

Step 2:

Click to open Default app Settings

Step 3:

Under choose, default apps scroll down to see the Web browser

Step 4:

Click on the Browser shown to get the default browsers list to select from

Select Google Chrome

  In desktop search, type default app settings and select the result.
  
• 
  Under Web browser, click the current browser (EDGE).
  
• 
  Choose Internet Explorer and set it as
  default.
