    Why can't i change virus threat protection settings in Windows. "The setting is managed by your administrator" even though the laptop is owned by me and I am the administrator. Currently I am running Windows 11 Home Single Language edition. Running "gpedit.msc" doesn't work for home edition. Can someone find the solution for "Windows 11 Home Single Language"?

    Hi Nikhar,

    Thank you so much for replying. I followed your steps but this hasn't solved the problem - still no virus and threat protection. The registry value was 3, and I changed it to 2 as you suggested. Should I change it back?

    Any other suggestions?

    My virus & threat protection is not showing

    I am writing to seek assistance with a problem related to Windows Virus and Threat Protection on my PC. Unfortunately, the feature has become invisible, and I am unable to access it.

    Issue Details:

    • Operating System: Windows 11
    • Problem: Windows Security (Virus and Threat Protection) is not visible.
    Steps Taken: I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Restarted my PC.
    2. Checked Group Policy settings.
    3. Reset Windows Security app.
    4. Ran SFC and DISM commands.
    However, the issue persists. I kindly request your guidance on resolving this matter. Could you please provide instructions or further steps to restore Windows Virus and Threat Protection?
