    why can't i create a new folder without name in windows 10 using ALT 0160 or 255?


    right-clicked on a new folder to rename it, held ALT and typed 0160 or 255 but it doesn't work.i even tried to use the number pad of the on-screen keyboard but it still doesn't work. is there any other way?

    How to make a Uber Hidden Folder

    • Make a new folder.
    • Change the icon to a blank icon. No icon should appear
    • Rename the folder to a blank by pressing "alt + 255." (NOTE: Press 255 on the numpad) No text should appear.
    • Your done! It is uber hidden. *Big Grin why can't i create a new folder without name in windows 10 using ALT 0160 or 255? :D

    yeah but if you search within windows search can u still be able to find files you put in it like say porn or somthing like that. that you can hide from the g/f or wife lol
