Windows 10: Why can't I delete this WAV. file?

So I was making a group of VOICEVOX files until I accidentally put one that I didn't want in there. When I tried to delete it, it disappeared for 1 second and then came back. I don't know what's going on, I tried every way possible, and it still won't get deleted. Since VOICEVOX is all in Japanese, I have to translate everything. Please, some VOICEVOX expert, fix this for me.I'm using Windows 11 and grouped the files as a zip file.

Cannot Play WAV files

OK, let's try a few admin commands:

1. Create a desktop shortcut for cmd.exe.
2. Right-click this shortcut, then left-click "Run as administrator".
3. Accept the challenge. You will get a black frame.
4. Type these commands and press Enter after each:
   
   takeown /f F:\ /r
   
   icacls F:\ /t /c /grant everyone:F
   
   attrib /s -h -r -s F:\*.wav
5. Try once more to play a .wav file
6. If still unsuccessful, copy one of the files to your desktop, then play it there.

TrustedInstaller is a Windows built-in account, also known as NT SERVICE\TrustedInstaller. It is also the owner of ProgramsFiles, and all Windows Folder, such as My Pictures folder.

For better assistance, we'd like to know the following:

• "All WAV files are in MY Pictures folder." - Are you referring to the Windows native folder?
  
• Do you want to delete the whole My Pictures folders or just the files inside the folder?

batch renaming file extensions .WAV to .wav

Hi Stephanie,

This is a FAT32 limitation. Try renaming in 2 passes.

Example:

• ren *.WAV *.blahblah
  

and then

• ren *.blahblah *.wav
