Windows 10: Why can't I disable s mode on my brand new lenovo laptop?

I am trying to disable s mode on my brand new laptop and keep receiving an error message. I've updated my app store and restarted the computer multiple times with no luck.

I have a Lenovo laptop brand new why cant I use it without it being plugged?

Cannot pair brand new Microsoft Bluetooth mouse 3600 with brand new Lenovo X1 Windows 10 Pro

I cannot pair a brand new Microsoft Bluetooth mouse 3600 with a brand new Lenovo X1 laptop running Windows 10 Pro. Lenovo Bluetooth driver is up to date. Laptop Bluetooth manager rarely sees the mouse but still cannot pair showing the message to check if
the mouse is still discoverable. Any suggestions?

If your brand new laptop won't turn on without plugging the power adapter, then it only means that the battery is defective. Since it's a brand new laptop, and it's under warranty, it's best that you contact the device manufacturer to have the defective
part replaced.
