Pictures in email not downloading with Win Phone 8.1

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Support forums.

Without knowing more information, there isn't much that we can suggest as a troubleshooting step just yet. Please reply with the following bits of information:

• The email provider hosting the email account being issued. For example: Outlook.com or Gmail.com.
• Whether or not this happens in emails from any sender or just emails from a specific sender.
• The make and model of the device.
• The OS version and firmware revision on the device. This can be found under
  Settings > About after tapping the More Information
  button.
• (Lumia Devices Only) The manufacturer name and mobile operator listed under
  Settings > Extras+Info.
• The approximate date this issue began.

As for automatically downloading the full email (including pictures):

• Open the Outlook app on the device.
• Tap the [...] icon in the bottom right.
• Select Settings.
• Scroll down and enable the option Always download full message and Internet images.
• Select the Done option on the bottom to save your changes.

Why are pictures I download showing up on my desktop and some pictures I don't know who they are being saved on my computer?

To assist you better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• From where are you trying to download and save the Pictures?
• While saving the Pictures are you not prompted to save in a particular location?

I suggest you to check in the Downloads folder and check if they exist there.

• Press Windows + E keys and select Downloads
  in the left side Navigation bar and check if the downloaded Pictures exists there.

save emailed pictures

How do I save an e-mailed picture, I was trying to save as screen picture but I don't know where the picture was saved. I save as footprint and it will show on the footprint application.
