    Why cant I format a new disc in D drive my dvd drive, I go through the motions and click on...


    I have tried all the suggestions that came up when I did a search. I get to manage computer and click on driver tools, format shows up but doesn't do any thing when clicked on. Seems like that area where format is isn't lit up...

    DVD RW Drive E not recognizing formatted Verbatim DVD-R Disc

    My DVD RW Drive E does not recognize a formatted Verbatim DVD-R Disc that I am trying to burn.

    Any suggestions?

    Disc Drive D:\ Can't Read

    Within the last week or so, whenever I try to copy, or paste, a file to my DVD drive I get the following message.

    Windows can’t read the disc in drive D:\

    Make sure that the disc uses a format that Windows recognizes. If the disc is unformatted you need to format it before using it.

    I can no longer paste, or save, anything to a CD and I am using CD-RW.
