Windows 10: Why can't I get anyone at Microsoft to update my email address

I have been begging for a way to talk to some at Microsoft so I can update the only working email address I have to my Microsoft Account so I can actually use my Windows 10 home computer. Since I can't sign in because I can't get the assistance I need to update my Account information, I have repeatedly ask for the Community to send any information you think could help to my working email address:*** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Can anyone contact Microsoft Consumer Support and have them call me at 941-764-1246?If Microsoft isn't interested in assisting me, I will make sure Microsoft will be unabl

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Additional email addresses

You are talking about two totally different things, contacts versus predictive text input in mail client.

In most email clients, like Windows Mail, when you start typing an address in TO, CC or BCC fields, the client does not pick the addresses suggested from your contacts. Instead, it suggests addresses you have sent email earlier, or addresses of those who have sent email to you.

If I now sent you an email, and you replied to it, next time when you write an email to someone whose address starts with K, my email address would be one of the suggested to you although I am not in your contacts.

 

Postal addresses not hyperlinked after 8.1 update

Hi Chris,

Can you list the steps required to reproduce this? I just sent myself an email with my home address and when I opened the email on my phone, the address was hyperlinked and the link wen t right into HERE Maps. I used the same format that you had listed.

I am also using a Lumia Icon with the Denim update.
