    Why can’t I get out of s mode


    I just purchased a new hp and I can’t get it out of s mode. It’s stopping me from taking my test and doing homework. Every-time I get to the Microsoft store and press “get” I get a “try again something happened and we couldn’t start the upgrade”. I’ve restarted the wuaserv, logged out of the store and log backed in. Restarted the laptop as well. Can anyone help ??

    If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

    • Please report back and let us know the outcome, as it will dictate the next steps.
    • Also: please tell us what AV/AM/firewall programs are you running on this system?
