Windows 10: Why can't I install Windows 10 32-bit on a modern PC?

I have a PC with Intel 12th gen CPU. I need to install 32-bit Windows 10 on it, but whatever I do, it doesn't let me install. I have tried legacy MBR and UEFI GPT and failed to install 32 bit on both of them. I have tried all the online solutions that exist, like turning off secure boot and all these things. I can install Windows 11 or 10 64-bit on it without any problems, but I need 32-bit Windows for some 16-bit programs and for some programs that work better on a native 32-bit. I get this problem before getting into windows setup. I hope someone can help me.Please note that there is no issu

Can`t Upgrade 32-bit to 64-bit Windows 10

I tried upgrading my notebook/tablet pc from 32-bit to 64-bit windows 10. But it won`t boot from my usb. I checked if its compatible and followed the steps, but I didn`t get the windows "install now" option.

Welcome to Ten Forums. 64 bit Windows can run 64 bit and 32 bit software. There are no special steps needed, just install it. What cannot run on a 64 bit system is really old 16 bit software. For that you would need a 32 bit Windows, which can run 32 bit and 16 bit software.

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
