Windows 10: Why can't I install Windows 10 or 11 on my HP laptop?

When trying to install a Windows 10 Upgrade on my HP laptop computer currently running 8.1I get a message that says "This app can't run on my computer" and to contact the publisher.Which app do I need?I am running the 64 bit, 4gig RAM with 3.89 available and 2.16 GHz CPU - no touch screen...

HP Stream 11 under Windows 10 - Touchpad not recognized.

Are you making sure you are trying the correct driver for the WiFi... They list Broadcom, Intel, and/or Realtek.

Also, try to run the installer as an administrator install.

If that fails... try extracting the files and manually install the driver.

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.
