Windows 10: Why can't I just use the operating system without all the Microsoft products being shoved...

Do the developers and managment at Microsoft think they are playing some kind of Us vs Them game with Windows 11. I have a 12 year old computer that was state of the art back on 2011 when I built it. It had Windows 7 and it is still running games today. Then Steam sent a notice that their platform would not run any more game on machines that did not have Windows 10 or Windows 11 and said that 2023 eoy was the deadline. I tried to upgrade my reliable but old computer to windows 11 but could not because of some BS that Microsoft had decided for me that my computer wasn't good enough for their Wi

Are you able to follow them?

To better assist you, do let us the complete message that you receive.

Sometimes, this could be due to two operating system installed in your computer. Just to make sure this is not the case, I suggest you to try the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R.

2. Type msconfig and press enter.

3. Click the "boot" tab and check if there are any other operating system listed.

4. In addition, change the timeout time to 3 seconds(default)

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
