Windows 10: Why can't I leave comments on MSN News stories. There is no option to click on anything to...

After signing out of Hotmail, I don't have access to leave comments on any MSN News stories.I have always been able to leave comments but, that option is no longer available. There is nothing to click on. Just as an FYI...I'm a senior & am challenged when it comes to technology so, please explain it step by step. Thank you so much...Pauline

Banned from commenting on FOX stories?

I post regular comments on MSN stories, however it appears that I am blocked from posting ANY comments on FOX News stories on MSN. It's only FOX stories on MSN, and I have no history of comment violations. Anyone else have this issue?

Nothing to do with this Community and we don't work for Microsoft.

We come here to help other Windows users with Hardware and s\Software problems with their Computers, etc.

Banned from commenting on FOX stories?

Here's my canned response on moderation. Please see, in particular, points 4, 5 & 6.

1. You may find useful information at MSN

2. There were so many unacceptable comments that commenting was shut down for a few

months not too long ago.

3. Now that commenting is allowed again, moderation is very restrictive.

4. Moderation is a dysfunctional mess. It's being done via AI, via a bot, not humans and is

random and inexplicable.

5. If a comment you tried to post was banned, you can appeal that from the Feedback link

at the bottom of nearly every MSN page. This may or may not be acted on and you may

or may not receive a reply. There used to be a more direct method, but that's been removed.

6. You can also submit feedback to MSN through Edge.

Specifically... the moderation bot is objecting to words or phrases in your comment, not the fact that you're commenting on Fox stories. The only way to get those comments past the bot is to edit out words you think it might be objecting to. Any word could be the offending one.
