Windows 10: why can't i log in to a different windows account automatically at startup?

Discus and support why can't i log in to a different windows account automatically at startup? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I used to be able to be presented with my account when bringing up my account.     why can't i log in to a different windows account automatically at startup?


    I used to be able to be presented with my account when bringing up my account. Now it presents me with the admin account.How do I change that?This worked prior to Windows 11 upgrade.

    How to run Edge automatically at startup

    Hi,

    I understand that you would like to run Microsoft Edge automatically after the boot. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • PressWindows key + R from Desktop.
    • Type shell:startup and press
      ok.
    • The Startup folder for the logged in user account will now appear.
    • Drag and drop the programs that you wish to run automatically at boot add their shortcuts to the Startup.
    • Restart the computer.

    You can have Windows automatically sign in to a local account or Microsoft account. It doesn't matter.

    Is you account listed more than once in netplwiz? Double check to make sure that you have selected the correct account in step 3 Option 1.

    The password is case sensitive, so be sure to enter it exactly for it to work properly.
