Windows 10: Why can't I log into my new laptop with my Microsoft account provided by my organization?

I am attempting to set up my new laptop with Windows 11, and it will not allow me to log in with my organization account. When I try to create new user from the local account, it says 'Looks like this isn't a Microsoft account'. I do not want to use the 'Access work or school' option, I would rather my login simply be my organization log in. Is this possible? Do I have to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro?

Just simply log in with your Microsoft Account.
Switch to Microsoft Account in Windows 10

Just go back to using a local account:
Switch to Local Account in Windows 10

Hopefully the tutorials are step by step enough.

accounting software for my small business so does Microsoft have a simple accounting system for new organization. Please suggest some list.

I bought a used laptop running Win 10 Pro. winver reports 1809.
How do I register my PC with my Microsoft account?
But when I'm done, I'd like to use my local account each time to log in.
Please tell me how to do that.
I am very new at Win 10, and need step by step instructions.
