Windows 10: Why can't I login to Microsoft store to make a purchase?

When I try to buy Word at the Microsoft store the login goes into a loop. I can login to my Microsoft account, but when I tried accessing the store from my account page I can't get to the place that allows purchase of stand alone MS Word or Office Home & Student.FYI, I am using a desktop with Windows 11, I've tried different browsers Firefox, Edge, cleared cookies and site data, changed password. Firefox browser security set at Standard. Am using Trend Micro for virus and internet security. I've seen similar postings but each one seems different and suggestions haven't been applicable/he

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you cannot login to Microsoft Store using the account that you made the purchase with.

Usually, we see this message when you try to login to Microsoft Store on the Windows 10 computer that is configured under domain with certain group policy restrictions.

For clarity, please let us know:

1. Are you using a computer that is configured under domain of your organization?
2. Do you login to Windows using a different account?

If you are not using a domain computer, are you able to see the purchase in the Microsoft Account?

If your computer is configured under domain, then there could be
group policy restrictions that are enforced on your system.

Unable to purchase app in store

Hello Nraina thank you for posting.

Here are some suggestions you can try in order to solve this issue.

• I would suggest you log with your Microsoft Account on
  https://account.live.com make sure your birth date, time&date and the time zone are correct.
  

• If you are having this issue on your Windows Phone, please check the time and date on the phone as well (<<settings <<time&date) and set them on manual.
  

• Please also log with the same Microsoft account to
  http://www.xbox.com and make sure you have created you Gamertag.

• As a last step, please just do a soft reset of the phone (if the issues are on you r Windows Phone)

Press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons for 20 seconds, until the phone vibrates. Once it vibrates, release the buttons and the phone should restart.

Cannot activate Win10 Pro after Microsoft Store app purchase  

So I guess my suggestion of calling Microsoft and telling them you can't activate your purchased OS from their store doesn't count? *Huh
