Windows 10: Why can't I make a photo slideshow in Windows 11 from Windows Explorer of ONE folder on an...

Microsoft removed the Slideshow feature from File Explorer in Windows 11. I have an external drive with 4 Gigs of photos in folders and sub folders, containing thousands of photos and videos. In Windows 10 I could select a photo in a sub folder, and then select Slideshow and watch a slideshow of all the photos in the sub folder to review the photos.In Windows 11 the only option is to open the HORRIBLE Photos App, select the external drive and watch as the app tries to load 4 gigs of photos and a videos, without them being segregated into their correct folders and sub folders, making the App co

I understand the inconvenience that you are unable view the photos in slideshow as it repeats after few photos and need to know “How can I change this to show a continuous and non-repeating slideshow?”. We will help you to

  Did you try to change the folder location and check?
  

I suggest you to follow the below steps:

Step 1: If the photos folder is located on the desktop, try to create another folder and copy all the content to the newly created folder and add this folder for slideshow and check.



Step 2: Try to create new folder if different location and copy all the content to the newly created folder in different location and add this folder for slideshow and check.
