Windows 10: Why can't i play DRM protected videos on my windows 10 pc now??

I m facing this issue form the last 3 weeks that I m not able to play any DRM protected videos on any of my browsers i.e chrome, brave, firefox, edge. But I can play the same on my mobile phone with the same network connection.I started facing this issue first from udemy site. There I started getting video playback error on encrypted videos. I did all the steps mentioned in their troubleshooting ariticle, but it didn't worked. Then I contacted udemy support. Told the entire issue to them. They took time to figure it out and checked everything. They asked me to check whether the issue is on onl

I started facing this issue first from udemy site. There I started getting video playback error on encrypted videos. I did all the steps mentioned in their troubleshooting ariticle, but it didn't worked.

Then I contacted udemy support. Told the entire issue to them. They took time to figure it out and checked everything. They asked me to check whether the issue is on only their site or any other sites like ott platform viz. netflix, voot, etc which also uses DRM Widevine to protect their content, I then checked voot.com , tried to play a video on that site and I was not able to play that as well . Before the facing this issue i.e before 3-4 weeks, I was able to stream videos on voot.com and play udemy encrypted videos without any problem.

I told this to udemy support , and then they came to a conclusion that the problem is on my end and in my envrionment and not their site.

This simply shows that its not the issue of just one site but all the drm protected content on web and this is on all browsers.

My windows is up-to-date and I also repaired the windows the operating system on suggestion of a microsoft support staff which I contacted before this. This too didn't worked. Then he suggested me to completely install new windows again.

 

How to play DRM-protected wmv files in windows mobile 7.5 device

I subscribed to Living Stream Ministry webcast (www.lsmwebcast.com). The video files are protected with DRM. I can play the video files (wmv) with my Windows Mobile 5 phone, but I cannot play it with
my Windows Mobile 7.5 phone. How to set up my Windows Mobile 7.5 phone so that it can play the DRM-protected wmv files?

i have old music i took from cd's i purchased years ago. the disks are no longer in tact but the music remains on my mp3 player. i just recently bought a windows 7 phone and want the luxury of having my mp3s on my phone instead of carrying 2 devices around
with me. Zune software doesnt pull in the music to load it into my phone. instead i get this error.

can anyone tell me how to get around this issue.
