Windows 10: Why cant i press spacebar whilist holding shift left only

i dont know why but i cant use shift and space at the same time. An example is that while im running with shift, i have to stop and press spacebar then go back to running which makes almost every game unplayable

How to: Left & Right Alt and Shift always pressed?

So this has to do with my previous post about a Auto Hot key script I'm using

So for this to work, you need to either hold left or right Alt keys :
To make a Unicode ? mark, I have to Hold right Alt. Naturally also have to hold any Shift.
Then the question mark key. So too many keys to press.

To make this special colon : need to hold Left Alt, and then hold any Shift.
Not sure why the AutoHotkey is set up this way, to have to press left or right alt to trigger different characters.

So is there a way to increase productivity by having left right alt and shift is always down, when i want to do a question mark, colon, etc ? Meaning just press one key, to make ? : etc
If there is something in the script ,that can be changed, i would not know. Or can I just another software to change the behavior to allow all these keys to act as one key press ?

I cant press left shift and space at the same time.

I actually don't know the cause of this and for the life of me don't know how it even arose.

It randomly appeared a few weeks ago and is becoming a real problem.

I literally don't have any other information other than when I press and hold left shift and press space the space key does not respond.

However, the space key responds when I am not holding the left shift key.

I don't know what else to do.

 

spacebar not working after updates

I have the same problem after the Windows 10 update yesterday. Here's what I did to troubleshoot (to no avail):

• rebooted
• used canned spray
• pressed "shift" five times to make sure "sticky keys" was not enabled, it wasn't
• enabled the OSK (onscreen keyboard) and the spacebar does work on it, just not on my laptop
• pressed spacebar in several places, held it down,

None of these "fixes" work. Short of getting a wireless keyboard, does anyone have a solution?

This is very frustrating.
