Windows 10: Why cant I print docs after updating to Windows 11Pro?

Updated to Windows 11 Pro. I can print a test page but cannot print any documents. Im asked to resave a doc that is already there.

We understand the concern as you are unable to print using
HP Office jet 4632 all-in one printer from Windows 10 S PC. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• Are you able to use the printer in Windows 10 S prior to this issue?
  
• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  
  
  

We would suggest you to run the inbuilt Printer Troubleshooter: Press
Windows + I key to open Settings, and then select Update & Security
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Printer > Run the troubleshooter.



However, we would also suggest you to uninstall/remove the HP smart app and reinstall it again on the PC. Please refer this article:

If the issue persists, I recommend you to use the Wi-Fi direct option and connect the printer wirelessly. Follow the steps in this article:

Incopatability with Google Docs

Hi Ba,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

I am sorry to know that Google Docs print option not working as expected.

Try with a different browser and check if it works.

It could be a browser or browser's settings issue.

I suggest you to run the Printer Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• 
  In Search window type Troubleshooting and click on it to open it.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Then click on Printer to run the troubleshooter. Follow onscreen steps.

printing a doc

Hi Jesinta,

Thanks for the response. Nothing comes up when I press ctrl+p. Under file, there is no print command listed.

Win 10 has changed this but I can't find an answer.

Any other suggestions?

I can print an email so printers are active.
