    Why can't I re-type my name to give approval for my sons account?


    I have created my son an email account then asks me to sign into my email to give parent approval. It is asking me to re-type my name and it is telling me what I am typing doesn't match when it does.How can I get past this point and approve my sons email?

    Remove account

    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

    I do not approve of the name my son chose for his account ("Kill All"). I would like instructions for changing the name on my (9 year old) son's account.

    Hi,

    To correct the issue, we suggest you to perform the steps below:

    • Press Windows log key + S.
    • Type User Accounts and click on it from the result.
    • Click on Manage Another Account.
    • If your son's account appears there, you can remove it and retain your account.
