Windows 10: Why can't I see incoming text messages from one of my contacts in the Phone Link...

To whom it may concern,My problem is simply this:I have linked my android phone to both my desktop and laptop computers, using the Link for Windows on my android phone and Phone Link on my two computers applications. For ONLY ONE of my contacts, I am receiving text message notifications ONLY, and not the actual incoming text messages on my two computers, via Phone Link. The only way I can see their incoming text messages is on my android phone, so I have to go to my phone any time I receive a text message notification from them on either of my two computers, via Phone Link.

Text messages linked to wrong contact

Hopefully someone can help me:

I was trying to send a message to one of my contacts who I text regularly, but was unable to send the message. For some reason the contact (including their phone nuber) had become un-linked from their other email and facebook details, and therefore I was trying
to send a messacge to a contact with no number. I then linked the contact details and I sent my message.

When I came out of the message chain to the main messages screen that chain was assigned to a different person. For some reason, the phone had also linked a random person (facebook only) from my contact list, and their name had taken over for the messages.
I un-linked the random person, but the message chain went with them, and now I have a contact I don't really care for with a year's worth of messages that should be with my friend.

I would have thought that a text message conversation would stay attached to that number, but now the chain is stuck with a facebook contact who I couldn't text if I wanted to.

How can I resolve this and migrate the messages back to the correct contact???

 

Messaging Ringtones on T-mobile Dash

I just got my T-Mobile Dash and love it. But I was wondering is there a way to use my own ringtones for incomming text messages? The Ringtones I downloaded to the phone will show in the list for Ringtones but not in the list for Ringtones for Text Messages.
Anyway to get them in there so I can hear my Ringtones when I get a text message?
