Windows 10: Why can't I see Windows Hello settings in my Sign-in options?

Right now I have Windows 11 Home version 22H2, OS build 22621.1413. I'm trying to setup an outlook email in the Mail app, and trying to sign-in some other stuff too, but it shows a prompt saying "Use Windows Hello with your account", then I continue and it shows an error that reads "We're sorry, but something went wrong registering <email> for Windows Hello". I have setup a sign-in with Windows Hello form the Microsoft's Security in the account website.

As per your query, I suggest you to change the Sign In option and check if it helps.

To change Sign In option, follow the below steps.

• 
  Type Setting in the search area on the taskbar and select
  Settings.

  Select Accounts.
  
• 
  Select Sign In option on the left panel.

Windows Hello preventing options on requiring sign-in

I got a new Lenovo laptop computer and it was working great but the last month or so it requires me to login every time I step away...I used to have it set for a longer time iirc because it's in a home setting, but when I go to Sign-in options now it tells me:

"Windows Hello is preventing some options from being shown." (screen capture attached)

(and it's stuck on "Every Time").

Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance.
