    Hello, I wanted to make a printscreen game. So I simply turned it on and pressed the print screen on the keyboard. However, after inserting the photo into the paint, there was a screen like I didn't turn on the game. I tried to use PicPick, but it shows the same problem. So I used Bandicam. He recorded the audio, but the video looked like I didn't turn on the game again. I tried it on a second laptop with W10 where it works. And I also contacted a friend who already has a W11 and it works for him. I tried to play another game, but the result is the same. There is obviously a problem with me

    Printscreen won't 'capture' in fullscreen mode

    I've had this problem before but don't remember how I fixed it but this is what happens: I use the printscreen button to take a picture of a game I am playing and when I go to use paint and paste it to the clipboard the only thing that comes up is a picture
    of my desktop. It has nothing to do with windows 10 because I've had windows 10 for a few months now and it still worked. I have looked everywhere for help and can't find it. The printscreen had worked in fullscreen before so I'm not sure why it is not now.

    Greenshot: The hotkey(s) "PrintScreen, Alt + PrintScreen, Ctrl + PrintScreen, ..." could not be registered

    Adding on top of @userJT's solution -

    Initially, Greenshot complained about "PrintScreen" and "Ctrl + PrintScreen" for me. It appears that "PrintScreen" was taken by OneDrive and "Ctrl + PrintScreen" - by DropBox. After you disable both, problem goes away.

    Full list of steps -

    1. See the error message like in the question. Panic, google, get to this page Why can't I shoot or make printscreen games in fullscreen? :)
    2. Note the first key that Greenshot complains about.
      • In most of the cases it will be "PrintScreen", so let's take it as an example.
    3. Press "PrintScreen" on your keyboard.
    4. OneDrive will pop up, prompting to save screenshots to OneDrive. Choose "No, Thanks" there.
    5. Click "Retry" in Greenshot's dialog, note the keys that are still taken.
    6. Repeat steps above for keys that Greenshot cannot register until it succeeds.
      • In my case it was "Ctrl + PrintScreen" that was taken by DropBox.
