Windows 10: Why cant i sign in to school account?

I recently got a new laptop and im signed into my personal microsoft account but i need to add a school account to my latop. I got to settings then accounts to add a school one and i put my school email in but after i do that it doesnt seem to load up anything, just does one loading circle then goes to a blank white screen, i have left this screen on to see if it just needed time to load but nothing. I did also try signing into the same account on chrome and Microsoft Edge, it did say it was taking me to the organisations page but after a few seconds it says 'this page isnt working at the mome

Onedrive asking to sign in to a school account

Hello, A few years ago, I lost access to my school email and had to create a new personal email for windows. My files sync fine with the new email, but once a day, I get a prompt asking me to sign into sharepoint and when I click the button to sign in, the only option I have is for the school account which I don't have access to. I deleted everything that started with Microsoft Office from credential manager that didn't have my personal email in the username field, ran the command C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset to reset onedrive, and uninstalled/reinstalled onedrive to no avail. Does anyone know what I missed here or why my school account is still connected? EDIT: I saw a SSO_POP_User credential that I missed in credential manager. Maybe that will fix it. I just unlinked and link my account and wasn't prompted to sign in; however, when the select an account prompt comes up, the school email appears in the list of options.

This will depend on the version of Windows you are using, if you are using a Windows Pro version you are able to sign in with the school account.

Step 1: Check the version of Windows

1-Click on Start then click on settings

2-Click on System, scroll down and click on About

3-You can see the edition in the Windows specification section

Step 2: If you are using a Windows Pro version you can add the school account to sign in

1-Click on Start then click on Setting

2-Click on Accounts, then click on Family & other members

3-Click on add account, insert the account then click on Allow this user to sign in on this computer
