  2. Wifi keeps swapping to ethernet?

My PC wifi keeps swapping to ethernet and I have tried everything that has been suggested like resetting my PC and uninstalling and reinstalling my ethernet driver but so far nothing has worked.

  3. Ethernet throttled after swapping from ethernet to wifi to ethernet again

    Hello,

I'd like to report an issue I have that arises when I unplug the ethernet on my desktop (to use on another device) and swap to a USB wifi adapter I have and then swap back later to the ethernet, unplugging the wifi adapter.

It appears that windows (or something, my router?) throttles the speed of the ethernet after I have done this, and until I restart the computer, the speeds I achieve don't generally go above 2 Mbps. Once I restart, they go back to the general speeds I receive
(and pay for) of around 80+ Mbps.

Is there any explanation for this? I find it quite annoying that I have to restart my PC so that it can get the network speeds that it usually gets just because I swap between wifi and ethernet.

    Thanks!

why cant i swap from ethernet to internet/wifi on my pc?

Connecting desktop PC to Ethernet or WiFi kills all internet

When connecting my Desktop Gaming PC to either Ethernet or WiFi, the entire internet is killed. No wifi or Ethernet traffic will work for any device. When Ethernet is unplugged or WiFi is disconnected from the PC, the internet comes back for all devices. Tried new routers, same issue happens. Reset the network configurations on PC. Attempted to update drivers for NIC. Intel I211-AT Gigabit Ethernet Connector. Unsure what might be wrong.
