Windows 10: Why can't I switch back to a local account? My Microsoft account took over my local...

When I first got my PC I had made a local account. I just signed into my microsoft account to do something else, and it decided to make It my administrative account. I didn't want this to happen, and I have been trying to find solutions. I have no option to switch back to a local account, and I dont want to create a seperate local user. I also dont have any options to log out of this account. I just want my original one back. How do I go back to how it originally was?

Switch Back to Existing Local Account from Microsoft Account

I already identified that I had tried this, and that it did not allow me to switch back to the original Local Account. The Microsoft Account hijacked the User Name of the original Local Account. When I click "Sign in With a Local Account instead" and enter
the original User Name, Windows 10 won't proceed. The only way to get back to a Local Account is enter a new User Name.

 

Windows 8 with 2 Microsoft accounts?

Yea, I would create a local account and just use your school account to login to Outlook and Onedrive.

I suggest you to follow the steps on how to switch from Microsoft account to Local account:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Local account instead.
• Enter your Microsoft account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the Local account and click OK.
• Now, login to Local account.
