  1. Why can't I take a Screenshot in Windows 11?

My work just gave me a new Laptop that is running Windows 11, and I use a LOT of Screenshots, and I cannot figure out why Windows 11 is not letting me take Screenshots. When I press the 'Prt Scr' button, the screen turns grey, and a new little box appears on the top with a picture/video option, but neither of them is giving me a 'Screenshot' option. It looks like Windows 11 is forcing users to use some kind of a snipping tool and removed the option for Screenshots completely. Can anyone enlighten me on how to disable the windows snipping tool, or how to actually take screenshots within Windows 11

    :)

    Lock vs Login screen screenshot

    Hi Josey -

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!
