Windows 10: Why can't i view photo formats that beggins with "DSC"?

Hi, my name's Mario AustinI quote this support message in order to get supported and answers for my issues. I own a Laptop which specs are the followings: Windows 10, IntelR CoreTM i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.71 GHz, version 22H2, in addition, my pc is up to date.The reason of this quote is my unfortunate situation that i cannot view photo in format "DSC". The photos are from 2010, also 2011 but i cannot see them due to some incompatibility version or anything else which i don't know.Once i pick the photo to watch it, it shows me a brief message that says: It seems the file format isn't com

Just to confirm, did you follow the suggestion of Shawn 'Cmdr' Keene [MVP] on this thread? If so, were you able to see all your photos?

We understand that you don't want to use the Photos app. However, that is another way to view all your photos. If you would like to try, please follow the steps below:

• Open the Photos app.
• Click on the ellipsis (See more).
• Select Settings.
• Under Sources, click on Add a folder.
• Add the folder where the pictures are saved in.

Note: Just add the main folder and all the photos saved in the subfolders should show up.

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.
