    Why can’t my PC find available networks?


    I built my PC a few years ago and have been connecting it to the internet through Ethernet however I just moved and I do not have Ethernet where I am now living. Now when I try to connect to wireless internet it does not show any available networks. Would a USB wifi adapter solve my issue or is there something else wrong with my computer? Thanks!

    Laptop won't show list of available networks

    We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo.
    • Go to Settings (gear icon).
    • Select Network and Internet.
    • Then Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
    • Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

    Rebooting into Safe Mode with Networking sees no available networks

    I'm trying to reboot the system into the Safe Mode with Networking (option 5). However, while regular mode is connected to the network the Safe Mode doesn't connect and doesn't give any available network list.

    Any suggestions?

    I am very grateful for your help

    1 was not enabled. I enabled it and restarted the HT-PC, but now the HT-PC is not visible in Network list on any computer.

    ...then i run 2 and both was true.

    Next step?
